Professional/Active Member

Individuals who are interested in the objectives of the Society. Active members may attend and participate in all sessions and meetings, present relevant papers, publish in the Society’s journals (subject to the editorial policy and practices of the journals), subscribe to the Online Library and journals, receive other publications as authorized by the board of directors, receive additional member benefits, hold office, and vote.

grad students

Graduate Student Member

A full-time graduate student, majoring in Agronomic, Crop, Soil, or Environmental Science, or related discipline. Graduate student members are entitled to discounted dues, as set by the board of directors. Special student subscription prices for the Online Library and most journals are available. To assist with the transition to full-time employment, graduate students are eligible to continue as a graduate student member for one year after graduation. Graduate students have the obligations and privileges of active membership, except that they may not hold office. Please note: full-time staff members and active members on leave for study are not eligible for the graduate student membership category. Graduate student membership is limited to seven calendar years.

Undergraduate Student Member

An undergraduate student, majoring in an Agronomic, Crop, Soil, or Environmental Science, or related discipline. Undergraduate student members are entitled to discounted dues, as set by the board of directors. Special student subscription prices for the Online Library and most journals are available. Undergraduate students may join individually or through the Students in Agronomy, Soils and Environmental Sciences club at their college or university. Undergraduate students have the obligations and privileges of active membership, except that they may not vote or hold Society office. Undergraduate student membership is limited to five calendar years.

emeritus connect

Emeritus Member

Emeritus members are individuals who have held active membership for a total of 25 years or more, and have ceased professional employment (including consulting). An emeritus member shall have all of the privileges of active membership, will pay dues, and may subscribe to the Online Library and Society journals at discounted rates established by the Board of Directors. Corporate Member

A corporate member is an organization that supports the goals of the Society. An individual designated by a corporate member firm as its representative shall be accorded all of the privileges of an active member.
