CSSA honors and celebrates the achievements of those in the crop sciences to recognize excellence and leadership in research, education, industry, and mentorship; and bestows the prestigious designation of Fellow. In addition, CSSA offers both graduate and undergraduate scholarships which recognizes students’ academic achievements and leadership. Each year, we honor our award recipients at our Annual Meeting awards ceremonies, in our Hall of Fame display, and in CSA News.
Nominate a colleague who deserves to be recognized for their achievements (and all CSSA awards also allow for self-nominations, including student scholarships, the Golden Opportunity and Greenfield Scholars Scholars program, and fellowships, with the exception of Fellows). CSSA also seeks and encourage nominations to reflect the diversity of our membership. Note: Self-nominations are able to see reference letters within the nomination packet.
