Submit your interest for CSSA leadership opportunities

We are seeking candidates for the 2026 CSSA elections to serve in 2027. This is a great way to grow professionally, expand your network, and help shape the future of the Society. These are volunteer opportunities open to professional members of CSSA. 

Open positions: 

• CSSA President-Elect
• Division Chairs-Elect
• Division Board Representatives for C-2 Crop Physiology & Metabolism and C-5 Turfgrass Science

Dates and deadlines:

• Oct. 30 – Priority deadline | Business meeting attendance at CANVAS is encouraged. Find meeting times and dates here.
• Nov. 20 – Final deadline | Submit your expression of interest to the nomination committees.
• Jan. 15, 2026 – Notifications | Applicants not selected will be notified.
• March 2–April 2, 2026 – Election period |  All CSSA members can vote in the election.
• Jan. 1, 2027 – Term begins | Leaders take office.
